I mistakenly bought cooked shrimp, so I will have to modify so the shrimp are not over cooked. I like the idea of soaking them in salted water, but think I will start with the bok choy, add the shrimp and quickly add the oyster sauce then the sesame oil. I hope this makes sense!

I prepped the vegies and shrimp the day before. Goes so fast is wonderful! Had to use Vermouth as was out of Shaoxing wine.
Use fresh garlic if possible – jarred garlic, although very handy, does not work in hot oil – it spits oil everywhere.

I just made this and we loved it. Not only is it a great recipe but it’s easy and quick. I did add some chili flakes with the garlic but other than that it’s to the recipe. Will be making it again soon
